Biography

Mao Ando/Mao Ando

I draw abstract paintings with “disentangling existence” as the main concept.
The sense of longevity obtained from a deep sea-like world within oneself is expressed through lines, dots, colors, and shapes.
I create while questioning every day what kind of ways it is possible to “dismiss” beings beyond words, ages, titles, etc.
