Moniker Press is a small risograph print studio and publishing project in Vancouver, BC, Canada, that works collaboratively with artists to produce small editions of books, zines and print ephemera.Publications:

1. Cross Sea Hum (Moniker Press): A short photographic study observing the varying patterns in sand over time, and the effects created from external movements such as tides, wind, water, shells, rocks, plastic and feet. Related notes coincide with preliminary research and drawings on concepts connecting to waves, movement, points of collision, material matters and the oceanic hum.

2. Fruit/Soil (Kim Edgar): fruit/soil observes the evolution of a pandemic– the hyper awareness of the precarious balance between relative safety and the fragility of living in a remote northern community. Whose bodies do we risk when we open up? We feel safe due to our distance, but does that isolation also make us vulnerable?

3. birdcage (Alex Mah, Ilana Waniuk): Encounters with ghosts, diasporic memories, dreams, and grandmothers. 

4. Passage and Portal (Sunny Nestler): Passage and Portal is a mixture of collage, drawing and painting melded together with the risograph medium. A glimpse into the perspective of Sunny Nestler who lives with an immune disease that affects their digestive system, throttling their upper cerebral-brain and lower gut-brain into overdrive.

5. Notebooks (Moniker Press): Made by hand in the Moniker Press studio all the paper in this notebook is recycled scrap from the printing process, with an additional overlay of shapes/lines in a variety of riso inks.
