Born in Hyogo, Japan. Graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and Osaka College of Art.
Working primarily in printmaking, alongside photography, video, and other mediated forms, Ueda explores the structures of transmission and loss inherent in processes of reproduction and transfer, drawing parallels with the ways we perceive and understand the world through uncertain and fragmentary information.
Recent solo exhibitions include another window (GALLERY SAOH & TOMOS, Tokyo, 2026), particle (Gallery Nomart, Osaka, 2025), and porous membrane (hitoto, Osaka, 2025).
