世界的なファッションデザイナーとして知られるジャンポール・ゴルチエ。そのゴルチエが手がける『ファッション・フリーク・ショー』のパフォーマーたちによるランウェイをTCS期間に開催します。 同作は生い立ちやデザイナーとしての生涯など、ゴルチエの半生が描かれたランウェイ・ミュージカル。マドンナやデヴィッド・ボウイ、ナイル・ロジャースなど数々の有名アーティストの楽曲も本作の魅力のひとつです。 初演のパリ公演では延べ約25万人を動員し、現在はヨーロッパやオセアニア、北米などをめぐるワールドツアーの真っ最中。5月と6月には待望の日本公演が上演されます。それに先駆け、TCSの会場に『ファッション・フリーク・ショー』のパフォーマーが来場。 銀座、丸の内・有楽町、渋谷、日本橋の4エリアで特別バージョンの街中ランウェイショーを披露します。ゴルチエのオートクチュールと街中のグラフィックが溶けあう豪華絢爛なファッションエンターテイメントをお楽しみください。

Jean Paul Gaultier is a world-renowned fashion designer. Performers from Gaultier's "Fashion Freak Show" will take to the runway during TCS. The show is a runway musical that depicts the life of Gaultier, including his upbringing and life as a designer. The music by Madonna, David Bowie, Nile Rodgers, and many other famous artists is also a part of the attraction of this work. At its premiere in Paris, a total of about 250,000 people attended. The show is currently in the midst of a world tour that will take it to Europe, Oceania, and North America, with long-awaited performances in Japan in May and June. Ahead of the tour, performers from the "Fashion Freak Show" will visit the TCS venues. Special versions of runway shows will be presented in the Ginza, Marunouchi, Shibuya, and Nihonbashi areas. ジャンポール・ゴルチエ1952年、フランス・パリ郊外生まれ。18歳の誕生日にピエール・カルダンのアシスタントとしてファッション界でのキャリアをスタート。1976年に自身のメゾンを立ち上げ、1997年にオートクチュールコレクション「Gaultier Paris」をスタート。2004年以降は「Hermés」のレディース・デザイナーを務めるなど、世界的デザイナーとして活躍。ゴルチエはそのキャリアを通じて、ダンス、音楽、映画の分野でも活躍。
