Work Details
This acrylic moon stencil comes from the thought of conveying deep emotion with simple forms. The deep purple night fades into darkness, as the moon is actually an absence of pigment, conveying the sense of loss, loneliness, and contemplation that the moon naturally holds
Artist
Bold colour
English artist currently living in Osaka Works with acrylics but sometimes experiments with other mediums Uses bold colour Taking inspiration from music, emotion, nature, and dreams Connor focuses more on the emotion portrayed in art rather than the specific form For him, perfection lies in imperfection Connor tends to work in metaphor rather than trying to replicate natural life; a pomegranate for example may seem to be simply a fruit, but metaphorically speaking, it is passion, with its deep red shiny seeds; what does it mean to see that fruit cut in half?
