Work Details
I made it with materials bathed in the light of the last full moon in 2024.
It was created by shining the light of the full moon on December 15 on a support primed using gesso and nebula kamisuna, and then applying acrylic paint over it.
※Nebula Jinsha is clean sand awarded at Kinomiya Shrine.
(Isatakemei-sama, who is the main enshrined deity of Kinomiya Shrine, is both the “god of trees,” and the “god of life” and “god of fighting off misfortunes.”)
Since metallic and pearl pigments are used, they reflect depending on the angle.
I pray for the well-being of living things in the brilliant moonlight ✨
