Work Details
Concept and production intention of the work
This work is a relief work that combines flat and three-dimensional objects. The fluorescent green part is flat tanto paper attached to the panel, and the gray part is three-dimensional paper. It is characterized by the fact that flat and three-dimensional objects are divided for each color. When viewed obliquely from the left of the work, fluorescent green stripes can be seen, and when viewed diagonally from the right, the fluorescent green part is covered by a three-dimensional gray paper, so the fluorescent green part looks like a triangle. The relationship between gray paper three-dimensional and fluorescent green shapes that change regularly depending on the viewing angle is fascinating.
Production methods and tools used
Use tanto paper (S-2, I-62), wood panels and glue. The fluorescent green part smoothly attaches paper to the panel, and the gray part creates a development diagram by oneself and assembles a three-dimensional paper.
