Work Details
This work was created using the topography of Japan as a motif.
Heaven and earth are not necessarily as shown on the map, and may also be upside down.
The terrain was formed by cutting, sinking, and moving as nature went without anyone's help.
Above that, we are standing here right now.
Both I and you were born as a result of a series of events like this terrain.
If you think like that, isn't it possible to recognize once again that we and you are here now from a different angle?
I hope it will be an opportunity for you to appreciate the world seen from above, reaffirm that you and I are here and now, and switch between narrow perspectives and thoughts.

A work is created by combining natural scenery and objects that I have felt somewhere.
By drawing on nature, we question our way of being.
What to draw, what to project
When I first started drawing abstract paintings, the subject was “nature.”
The lumpy texture that appears on the screen and the expression that paint oozes
It evoked “memories of scenery” and “senses” within myself.
However, as production continued, expressions of nature gradually became human emotions,
It became linked to time and philosophical questions.
A blurry, lumpy surface with no shape.
They have different meanings for each work
I'm staying, and it shows traces of my own inner world from time to time.
At some point, drawing nature was supposed to depict people and thoughts.
This is common to all series.
