Work Details

I drew about the distorted love between mother and child.

The person wearing the costume is holding a stuffed animal very similar to himself.

I drew this because I thought that the act of parents loving their children was actually an act performed by parents hungry for love to comfort themselves.

Artist

Born in 1995 in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from Hiroshima City University Faculty of Art in 2018, majoring in oil painting, and purchased the Graduation Exhibition Excellence Award and Art Museum. Received the 5th Future Exhibition Grand Prix (Nippon Movie Gallery). Received the 54th Showa Exhibition Paris Award in 2019. In 2020, he completed the Master's Program in Fine Arts at the same graduate school, and purchased the Excellent Production Award and Art Museum. 2021 Holbein Scholarship. An exhibition commemorating the Showa Convention Awards will be held at the 2024 Nippon Movie Gallery main store. Currently unaffiliated.
