Work Details
It is a tapestry work using the spelled weaving technique, which was created with the assumption that it will be displayed in a hospital waiting space.
The main theme was warm colors that evoke positivity under the theme of “relieving anxiety and space” for people visiting hospitals. By using familiar scenery as motifs, I felt familiar with the work and thought it would be possible to heal patients' hearts. It was created not only to encourage patients, but also to heal the hearts of working staff.
A large 3 meter long loom is used for production.
It is a very time-consuming and time-consuming technique that only progresses about 10 cm even when woven for 12 hours a day.
Therefore, it took about 1 month to complete.
Our surroundings are always full of wonderful colors and colors. Look at the work and ask, “What shape is it?” I thought about the design while hoping to make people feel even a little brighter and more enjoyable by expanding imagination and conversation, such as “this shape looks like that,” etc.
