Work Details
UNKNOWN ASIA 2022スポンサー賞受賞時に展示。受賞の決め手となった作品です。
日本の飲み屋街をイメージして制作し、実際に新宿のゴールデン街に赴き、入念に取材を行いました。また、新宿歌舞伎町をモデルにしたという映画「ブレードランナー」の街並みと、工場夜景の煌めきからも影響を受けています。
架空の看板に描かれている店名は、難しい言葉やネットスラングなど、支離滅裂です。
絵は透明の塩ビ板にアクリルガッシュで直接描かれています。内部にはLEDライトを仕込んでおり、光らせてお楽しみいただけます。 ライトのコードは白で、裏面2箇所から出ており、コンセントに接続します。
