Work Details
第2回ARTIST NEW GATEファイナリスト選出作品。東日本大震災のときにうつ病と診断されてから治療に向き合い、震災から10年たった2021年に作家活動を再開することができた。 自然災害の影響に流されながらも、懸命に生きようとするこの国の人々の姿を描きたいと考え、フルイドアートで表現した。 フルイドアートの筆を使わずキャンバスを傾けたり、息を吹きかけたり、火で表面を炙って絵具を広げる技法が地震や台風、水害、火事など 自然災害を表すことに適していると考えた。
