Work Details

従来の統語構造ではなく文字を視覚的に配置し、文字同士が多方向的・多焦点的に繋がることで新しい詩を発生させることを目指している。《ki/u》では、「キ」と「ウ」という音節に基づく漢字を無数に配置することで降雨を描いた。雨乞いを意味する「祈雨」という言葉を起点とし、その音節からの派生によって漢字を選択し、祈りのイメージを発展させる。形態、音節、意味が絡み合い、漢字同士が共鳴する場として作品を提示する。

Born in 1990. Born in Osaka. Completed the doctoral program at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts. While still in school, I went to Tsinghua University in Beijing as an exchange student. While searching for new connections between characters, he creates visual poems using kanji. I'm trying to draw out the possibilities hidden in words and images through the fluctuations that occur between seeing and reading. Every time viewers look around, scattered characters meet, and a chain of chance is born. By going beyond the framework of reading logically and sequentially and getting closer to a world of simultaneous and direct acceptance, we will create a poetry space where kanji resonate with each other.
