Work Details
・初めに日本の伝統的な彫金技法を使用した平面作品を制作。
・次にその作品を写真撮影し、デジタルデータ化してPhotoshopで加工。規則的な「反転、配置、縮小、拡大」をすることで、手仕事の偶然性とデジタルの必然性の対極の美を組み合わせた。
・その後デジタルデータをアルミ複合板に印刷し、再度模様を彫った。本来なら印刷なのでいくらでも量産できるが、再度伝統的な手仕事を加えることにより唯一無二の作品に戻している。
金属加工（物質／フィジカル／有限）→パソコン作業（非物質化／デジタル／無限）→出力と再金属加工（再物質化／フィジカル／有限）→継続的なプロセスによる質の向上
