Work Details
Concept and production intention of the work
It is a sculpture of a stuffed puppy that “pops” and gently illuminates.
Electricity is one of humanity's greatest inventions.
Stuffed animals are an invention that makes modern people less lonely.
And humans and dogs have been living together since ancient times.
The ready-made products used are vintage after 50 years, and always antique after 100 years, so I enjoy maturing along with contemporary art.
There are works that are infinitely similar and opposing.

What I wanted to express in this work
This is a spring work of 2023. It is a work where I began to think about expressing a plump space, thinking that it is interesting to lose the clear form, the intention of the production, and the meaning of the work.
Production methods and tools used
Prototypes are made with clay, silicone molds are made, molded into FRP, spray painted, and combined with IKEA floor lights.
Thoughts put into the work and title
Borrowing from the existence of matter, something like an essence that cannot be seen or touched creates a scene that shines brightly in the heart.

Artist
I primarily create sculptures, expanding my artistic expression through a range of materials and drawing. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2011 Completed Aichi Prefectural University of Art Graduate School in 2016 I am creating works centered around sculpture on the theme of "common myth - Ready-Made Products and Preconceived Notions, and the People Surrounding Them." I create sculptures to actively embrace the unknown and generate generous spaces; my work conveys an overarching message that connects to a world beyond the finite. In recent years, I have been exploring fundamental forms, space, and natural materials. Since 2025, I have also been working on site-specific art with my original concept, "Japandan" (Japan × Modern).
