Work Details

Artist
Artist/Media Artist
[Concept/Statement]It explores new possibilities in digital art and depicts beautiful scenes and natural signs (flowers and birds) that have not been seen yet.In 2002, he began using computer graphics as an expression based on academic painting theory. Since 2013, based on the unique concept of “painting with a timeline,” he has deepened the development of video works that are formed as a single painting no matter which moment is captured. It is not limited to images that tell a story, but also pursues “sensory expression” that deeply appeals to space and the five senses. In recent years, he has been working on expressions that design the atmosphere (atmosphere) itself by fusing traditional crafts (lacquer, woodwork, plastering) with digital light.[profile]Noriko Kinouchi (Noriko Kinouchi)Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Oil Painting and the University of the Arts (Graduate School of Fine Arts, Department of Printmaking). After completing graduate school, he consistently created works on digital media. As a regular member of JCD (Japan Commercial Environmental Design Association) and DSA (Japan Space Design Association), he is developing various projects that bridge art and space design.Starting with Italy's “A' Design Award” which is an international design award in 2 categories (2025), the “Sky Design Awards” short list selection (2020), and it has received high praise domestically and internationally, winning the “Asia Digital Art Awards” video category grand prize (2017) domestically. It has also been selected and published in “100 Video Artists,” which selects video creators representing Japan.
