The Core of Silence

This work depicts a landscape of the mind moving away from thoughts, feelings, and the noise of the outside world and diving into silence.

The countless overlapping ellipses represent thoughts that are constantly born.

The white circle in the center is a protected place of silence, free from all noise and uninvaded by anyone.

The act of drawing ellipses one by one is also a process of turning time into a work.

There is a core of silence that cannot be invaded by anyone, even in thoughts and feelings that are constantly born.

I wanted to express that protected realm of mind.

Use pencil and ballpoint pen on Kent paper. Countless ellipses are hand-drawn one by one, and the work is created over time.

Approximately 2monnths

A quiet place where you can get away from the constant thoughts and noise of the outside world and arrive as if you were diving deep into the sea.

The white circle in the center contains a feeling of protected silence that cannot be invaded by anyone.

I named that place “The Core of Silence.” Please enter
