In the story, the scene where the cuckoo is actually shed is not depicted, but if you imagine how countless small cuckoo lanterns flow down the dark surface of a river,

A scene appears in my mind as if a galaxy is projected onto the ground, and the starry sky spreads in all directions surrounding me.

In “Night on the Galactic Railroad,” I realized that the ground and the galaxy are structured to project each other

It inspired me to use this story as a motif.

This is because the still life paintings I am working on are also by projecting stories and ideas onto common objects

This is because it is a genre that has acquired complexity and depth.

I drew “Night on the Galactic Railroad” by projecting the still life on the desk and its phenomenon.

I hope this production will reveal the structure of the story and invite me on a journey through the galaxy.
