Work Details
I watched the 2022 total lunar eclipse with my children through an astronomical telescope.
When viewed through a telescope, the Earth's shadow erodes the Moon in a very three-dimensional way. I was also able to clearly see how Uranus, far away, was hidden by that moon.
The Earth we stand on is the same sphere as other celestial bodies, and it is moving. I “understood” that they are beings that receive stellar light and create shadows on satellites (in other words, they are related to each other) with a sense of reality.
This picture tried to reproduce the image from that time on a desk. Large glass balls, petanque balls, and marbles are arranged in series, similar to the positional relationship between the Sun, Earth, and Moon on the day of the lunar eclipse.
