Through an ongoing dialogue with these materials, I embrace phenomena and forms that emerge beyond the limits of my intention and control, seeking to make visible the otherwise invisible presence of time and memory.

The Rear Window series emerged after the medium I had used in a previous body of work was discontinued due to an import suspension.

When I suddenly found myself unable to continue making the paintings I had believed I could create indefinitely, I experienced a profound sense of loss.
