Work Details
果物の花が咲く前後の霜が降りる頃。花や幼果、芽が凍らないように深夜火を焚いて凍霜害を防いでいます。
これらはその時に昔使っていた缶です。右下が実際使った後の物です。今は専用に燃焼材がありますが、昔はこの缶の中に燃焼材を入れて火を焚いて温度低下を防いでいました。
これらの缶はもういらなくなったので、片付けるときに記録を残そうと思い撮影した最後の缶です。きれいなのは35缶、あと数個は使用済みの缶でした。

Masumi Shiohara was born in Nagano prf in 1974. He worked as a development engineer at a microfabrication manufacturer. After leaving the company, he took over his family's orchard from his parents, and is now running the farm. He is also involved in breeding and has developed a number of varieties.
