Work Details
The “Update I” series is a group of works whose theme is the difference between AI time and human time. This work is one of them
AI generates “time” only at the moment a prompt is sent/updated, and there is no time in between. Meanwhile, the material called silver foil vulcanizes and changes color at a unique rate depending on space and temperature. There is no subject or story that should wither in the image of a flower generated by AI, but the silver leaf depicting it certainly ticks time. Through this contrast, we aim to make us regain the time that flows in response to modern unified time, which is being recovered by digital technology.
