Out of Actions

Born in 1999. I’ve consistently been creating drawing machines out of a vague desire to witness something that no one has ever seen. I believe that by producing work through a controllable ‘other’—an agent beyond myself—I can trigger the moment when something surpassing my own imagination emerges. At the farthest extreme, where the author’s creative intervention on the drawing machine is diluted almost to nothing, I think the instant will come when something entirely unseen by anyone is born.
