Work Details
映画「KIDS」のクロエ・セヴィニーをモチーフにした作品。NYストリート・キッズのリアルな生態。破滅と儚さが交差して色彩を生むBGM。金髪に水色のTシャツの少女は永遠に瑞々しい夏の午後になった。
情報が溢れる現代社会において、情報そのものの価値は日々薄れていくように感じます。
その状況に反して、私たちはこれらに魅了され、情報の受信と発信から離れられなくなっています。
そして情報で溢れる社会の中で、私たちは自身のアイデンティティを失いかけているようにも感じます。
私の主な作品は、特定の人物をモチーフにキャンバス上に大量の絵具を塗布して描いたポートレートです。
情報における比喩表現として色を扱い、感覚や思考を形にするように、様々な色を何度も重ね合わせることで人物の情報は失われ、この工程を繰り返すことで人物から独自の情報が生成されます。
人はどんなに抽象的なものでも、目に映るものに意味を見出す能力があります。それは自らにとって本当に重要な情報を求めるように。
この作品を提示することで、現代社会を評価し、時代をあるがままに見る「真のアイデンティティ」とは何かを問いたいと考えています。

After working in creative fields such as music, design, and video, he began artist activities in 2021. Based on the concept of “the pursuit of essential value that is not bound by surface layers,” he creates works based on the subject of famous figures such as musicians and actors, abstracting their appearance with large amounts of paint and reinterpreting them. Corporate collaborations with the apparel brand “HARE” and the art material brand “LIQUITEX” will also be carried out. Nationality, gender, age, real face, etc. are consistently kept private because I want them to focus on the concept of the work.
