Work Details

I pick up anonymous traces left in the city and create mainly collage works that combine those fragments with my own drawings (traces). We aim to create new senses and stories by capturing moments where boundaries blend, such as self and others within a city, or past and present.

Born in 1998 in Ibaraki. Lives in Sapporo. Focusing on the poetics born at the moment of blurring the boundary between the traces of others and the marks created by oneself, he is developing mainly collage works that combine fragments of photographs taken of traces left on the street with fragments of drawings drawn by oneself. This production extends to video works.
