Overlay the Japanese beauty of color with the world of colors I can hear.

Hamada Takashi

Painter of traces of sound

Born in 1990. Born in Kumamoto.
I capture sound as color and form through synesthesia, and create with a focus on abstract expression.
The TRACE series depicts the traces and reverberations left by sound, voice, and human presence, and the NOISE series depicts the process by which sound is born and disappears.
While being influenced by ancient Japanese color views and spiritual culture, memories, prayers, and signs of absence are superimposed on the screen, and traces of an invisible presence are explored.
The work contains dragon characters in fragments.
