Metal painting シリーズ
コロナパンデミックで外出や知人と対面で会う機会が制限されてしまった、そんな時に制作を開始した作品。
私の遠く離れた家族や友人と再会する場所はオンライン上へと変化した。対面では気になっていた服装や装身具の存在は小さな画面内では目立たなく、気にならなくなったが、一方で背景はよく見えていた。本棚、写真、植物、ペット…その画面から読み取れる情報はその人物を象徴しているのではないか。例えば装身具のように。
オンラインで繋がることが一般的となった昨今の生活様式から考えた「画面内を装飾する作品」をテーマとして、壁にキャンバスを掛ける行為を人間が装身具を身に着ける行為とリンクさせた。
color series
・銅板を異なった伝統の金工着色技法を用いて色彩のバリエーションを制作。
・丸は色の粒をイメージし、キャンバスの上に金属で絵を描いた。
・金属加工、空間に装着（物質／フィジカル）→オンライン画面内でのジュエリー機能（非物質化／デジタル）
