Born in Fujian, China in 1995. Graduated from Central Nationalities University of China with a degree in Fine Arts, and completed the graduate course in painting (Japanese painting) at Tama Art University in 2023. Currently based in Tokyo. Lin Mingjun uses the traditional technique of ink painting, but creates a mysterious space on the canvas. He has developed his own unique contemporary style of expression, stepping out of the traditional ink painting technique. The motifs of his works are mostly snails, with their smooth limbs drawn in subtle shades of black ink and their shells painted in black circles. The shells are drawn in black circles. The straight lines drawn with pigments such as gofun and iwa-enogu (mineral pigments) on the folding screens and latticework create a unique contrast to the viewer's perception. and latticework, etc., give the viewer a unique contrast. In recent years, his skills have been highly acclaimed, and in 2010, he received the 9th Mirai Exhibition - Art University Student Support Program Highest Award (Nichido Gallery / Tokyo). In 2010, he was awarded the highest prize at the 9th Mirai Exhibition - Art University Student Support Program (Nichido Gallery, Tokyo) and the Special Prize at the 57th Kanagawa Prefecture Art Exhibition (Kanagawa Kenmin Hall Gallery).
