Born in Tokyo, 1975. Received B.Des. at Tokyo University of the Arts. After working at communication research center FABRICA (Italy) in 1999, Fujimoto completed his M.A. in Design at Tokyo University of the Arts, moving on to become an assistant faculty of Intermedia Art, Tokyo University of the Arts. Fujimoto plans and implements exhibitions and projects where he questions phenomenon which occur in society and environment under the theme NEW RECYCLE®. He combines and transforms varied materials digital control into art works.He also organizes art project “SONO AIDA”, which utilizes empty space among urban space.
