Work Details
✨ Nyantopia is the story of “another city” where you can live freely and at ease, just like a cat. (A triptych artwork mounted on wooden panels.)
The true form of Nyantopia reveals itself after the sun goes down.
What unfolds is a night-only bazaar and market. In the milk bar filled with ambient music, visitors are welcomed with aromatic coffee and non-alcoholic cocktails. In the library, you can lie on beds or sofas, turning pages slowly as you sink into stories. And when you ride a hot-air balloon, a walk through the sky begins, with the whole city becoming a dreamlike observatory under the stars.
A small destination slightly removed from everyday life, where nostalgia and the future are felt at the same time. In the middle of busy days, it’s a soft imaginary place you feel like “dropping by for a moment.”
That is Nyantopia.
