この作品は自分を限定する様々な枠をかき消すスイッチの様なイメージで制作した作品です。

制作当時、音楽を聴くことで気持ちを切り替えたりという事と同じ様に、ビジュアルをトリガーとして自分の気持をコントロール出来るものを作りたいとい考えていました。

シンプルな形状はイメージしやすく、イメージの強度が高いと思い、これまで度々作品の中に登場していた三角形をモチーフにしました。

この作品で表現した三角形が回転していくイメージはまた後の作品にも登場します。

This piece was created with the image of a switch that drowns out the various frames that limit me.

At the time of its creation, I wanted to create something that would allow me to control my feelings by using visuals as a trigger, in the same way that listening to music allows me to change my mind.

I thought a simple shape would be easy to visualize and have a high strength of image, So I decided to use the triangle motif that has often appeared in my works.

The image of rotating triangles that I expressed in this piece will also appear in my later works.

Orecho=オレチョとは？

本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。

「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。

What is Orecho?

The character was born by symbolizing and fusing multiple series of artworks by Takao Honda.

"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.

The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
