Work Details
This is piece that connecting 12 diamond shapes of the bit series.
So far, I have created a piece that 9 bits regularly arranged became larger diamond shape.
In this piece, I wanted to create a horizontal screen with bits, so I placed them randomly.
It is an attempt to grasp the collection of bits as a deformation semi-dimensional canvas.
The gray-toned surfaces and lines reflect mind that the mixed feelings of anticipation and anxiety, I had at the time of creation, as if something in the depths of space was about to appear.
The faint traces of the past in the middle of nowhere, or the space where something is hidden from view, gives me a thrilling feeling of curiosity mixed with fear.
