“Mimosa”
In Japan, where I live in the northern hemisphere, the arrival of summer always makes me crave cool, sherbet-like colors.
Mimosas usually bloom in bright yellow, but somehow, this is how they turned out in my hands this early July—
Countless glowing flowers, as if they’re sending telepathic messages to each other.

I create my work with a contemporary sensibility and a gently poetic visual language. Using photographs and photo collages taken with a digital camera as esquisses, I shape and refine each piece on the computer.
Throughout my practice, I return to the theme of “the breath of flowers,” exploring quiet moments and subtle tension through color and composition. My work is presented both online and in physical exhibitions.
