Work Details
I think complex attitudes about gender are projected in this work. As a three-dimensional pottery, a feminine form is created, and on top of that, the image of the surface colored with ceramic pigments or glazes depicts a man wearing a suit falling over in an impossible position. This is a “knot” of our various gender perceptions, and at the same time, it is an expression of the intersecting “knot” image of life time.
