Work Details

As you can see from its long title, this work is an image I had while thinking about “time,” which is the biggest theme in my studio.
It's a subject that often appears in philosophical topics, but I think time and space are one of the most troublesome concepts about life that humans have come up with. It's public with the “here and now” (coordinate illusion) that “I” feel as an individual reality. There seems to be a parallel relationship between objective history (I feel it is difficult to position the “here and now” of “me”) that is difficult to intersect.
Also, in actual production of ceramic works, works often have a hollow structure due to restrictions on firing, and this inevitably creates an ambiguous connection and separation between “inside” and “outside” at the same time. I also feel that this is perfectly connected to the lack of comprehension I feel about the idea of time.
