この作品は2019年に制作をした床上のリンゴの静物の最初期の作品です。
この作品は眼前の床にあるリンゴに対してシンプルな反応で描いています。
リンゴはリンゴの色を用いて描いていますが、影の中などに他の色味を補うために青や緑などの寒色を取り入れて制作をしています。
今のリンゴの作品群とはタッチ等が大きく変わった作品ですが、根本にある東洋絵画の空間を再考する取り組みは始まっています。
