Work Details
I have watched a single tree, day and night, without interruption.
As time passes, the tree reveals countless expressions, shaped by shifting light and deepening darkness, and I found myself deeply drawn to its quiet transformations.
In this work, I sought to capture both the daytime and nighttime presence of the same tree, layering these moments to evoke the flow of time, subtle atmospheres, and the steady rhythm of life that resides within nature.
Standing before the painting, I hope the viewer will feel their own memories and sense of time gently resonate with the image, and rediscover the quiet richness hidden within everyday life.

I have a feeling that I want to carefully project the charm of the forest, which is shrouded in the mystery of nature, in my paintings. I want to project the breath of life of trees and flowers on a screen and draw pictures that invite you to that deep world. I want the work to exist with depth and strange distortion, as if it were a landscape projected by small drops of water. The title of the recent work, “Omen,” captures a premonition of change. I express the ever-changing breath of nature from my own point of view and memory.
