Work Details

The concept of the work

T-Line [Borderline Series] This series is a series in which characters are composed of lines created by steps on panels, and scenes imagined from those characters are drawn with various lines. Each scene was drawn by spinning beautiful lines interwoven by unintentional coincidences with the lines drawn: a series with beautiful lines created by uneven shadows; a series with beautiful lines created at the end of bleeding; and a series with beautiful lines where colors overlap and flow beautifully. The title of the work is “Unzan,” and this work is a series with beautiful lines born at the end of the bleed. The clouds that hang slightly over the mountains change their appearance moment by moment, inviting us into a fantastic world. The scene was finished in a modern style with blue ink, silver, and silver leaf by spinning lines that are created by accident after the blue ink bleed off. Furthermore, I created the work hoping that it would lead to a world where people respect and harmonize with each other's ways of life in this unstable social situation, so that various lines overlap and harmonize in the work. I would be happy if you could take a look.
