1986 Born in OSAKA(Japan) 2005 Graduated Osaka Industrial Arts High School Arts course 2009 Graduated from Hiroshima City University in faculty of Arts at sculpture course 2011 Graduated from Hiroshima City University in faculty of Arts at sculpture course for a master's degree 2017~2023 Research Associate, Hiroshima City University in faculty of Arts at Lacquer Arts I work on the theme of the human body, mainly the back. Using the back, whose own one cannot see, I try to visualize the changes that occur in people's relationships to each other, their differences, and the ambiguity and inability to grasp such things. Your back. Someone’s back. Or is someone's back a mirror that reflects oneself? I believe that the back, a part of the body that we are hardly conscious of, is where our emotions unconsciously appear. For my three-dimensional works, I mainly use dry lacquer technique and combine it with other materials. Two-dimensional works are also painted with colored lacquer and, depending on the work, shells and metal powder are sometimes used.
