Unravel the haze inherent in oneself, and develop Japanese beauty and the stylish appearance of people nurtured in our lives on “The Old Man.” An old man is often depicted as a symbol of taking a bird's-eye view and caring for his so-called weaknesses, or funny things that exude from human life, an elegant joke, the temperament of a layman, etc. In recent years, he also works on female themes that he has dared to avoid due to changes in his own lifestyle, and searches for figures different from male images in his paintings. The screen is fond of light-colored ink, and aims to be a Japanese painting where the ink lines familiar from childhood shine.
