「リズム　2020-1」

「リズム　2020-1」は「リズム」シリーズのひとつです。

「リズム」シリーズは、 複数の異なった素材を 組み合わせ作った作品です。このシリーズでは、テンペラ画に使用される石膏やテンペラ絵具などの素材そのものの美しさを引き出そうと試みています。箱の中に、色を塗った石膏とドライフラワーを組み合わせ、有機的な美を表現しました。形と色彩によるリズムを作り出すことにより、自然との調和を表現しようとしています。

Rhythm is a series of mixed-media assemblage works. With this series, I hope to bring out the inherent beauty I find in the raw materials used in tempera painting such as gypsum plaster and pigments. Within box frames, I assembled pieces of painted plaster in accompaniment with dried flowers and plants to encapsulate their organic beauty. In creating a visual rhythm through form and colour, this series attempts to represent harmony with the natural world.
