Work Details
ゆらゆらと揺れている水面に光が反射する情景は、 とても神秘的で美しい。 その水の揺らめきは見ていると こちらに寄ってくる様でもあり、 離れていく様でもあり、 その場をただゆらゆらしているだけの様にも見える。 しかし水面の水はとても激しく動いているのである。 そしてその中では様々な生き物がせわしなく動き回っている。 表層で見えているものとその中で起こっていることは 激しく違う場合も多いだろう。 その事実はあっちへ行くのかこっちに来るのか、 しっかりと見極める必要がある。

I create and present works on the theme of “Memories of the Land.” The “work that lifts the ground,” which is the main work, encourages people to think again about memories and events that lie dormant in that place by superimposing memories of that place on the strata accumulated there and showing those things that cannot normally be seen. When creating a work, I value local interviews and sort out my memories of that place by listening to various stories.
