Work Details
A scarlet beast lurks in a pale pink forest. She looks like she's smiling, yet her figure is somewhat profound. Light flickering like flames drifts through the forest, and the light leaking from the shade of the leaves of the trees splashes slightly, as if responding to quiet breathing.
Its appearance is reminiscent of Anubis, the guardian of the underworld in Egyptian mythology, and sacred beasts that guide souls. The scarlet coat is wrapped in soft light and shines as if covered with a translucent thin film, giving off a fantastic luster.
The unique texture of tempera and oil painting creates intricate layers.
