この世に生をうけたこと

このタイミングで生まれ、また死に行くこと

そうした命で今のこの世ができていること

個と個の集まりが、私たちであること

あちらの世界、こちらの世界、

という二項対立の存在を感じること

生きろ,

と、軽くには言えないが

せめて私は、あなたが生きていることを祝福したい

About that we live in this world.

About that we were born in this timing, and we will pass away.

About that this world consists of lives like this, now.

About the set of a unit and the unit is us, ourself.

That world, and this world,

Like that. About feeling the existence of the binary opposition.

I can't speak this word to you without much thought.

But I want at least to bless that you live.

きっかけは、従姉妹が、生後3か月満たずして亡くなったことだった。

生まれた時からひときわ身体が小さかった。

顔をくしゃくしゃにして、ノズルから酸素を吸っていた記憶がある。

病院に集まった親族の誰よりも常に一生懸命生きているように見えて

私は彼女が神々しく思えた。

彼女がこの世に生まれ、私たちの目の前に一瞬現れてくれたことは

絶対的に意味があるに違いない。

当時１0代だった私は、ぼんやりそう思った。

彼女の生きた証に、私は彼女に何かを贈りたかった。

人間同士の愚かな殺し合いが毎日どこかで起きている。

自ら生を断つ人もいる。

それぞれに事情があるのかもしれない。

けれども、それはあまりに生を軽視していないか、と私は憤ってしまう。

あの時の小さな新生児は確かに全力で生き、全力で心臓を動かしていた。

ここに並ぶのは、手回しオルガニートのためのカードである。

円環のカードには

個人の誕生日時と場所の情報、その人の名前と

そこから観測された星の様子が重ねて描かれており星座の星の位置に、パンチ穴が開いている。

カードの直径はその人の年齢に比例している。

奏でられる音楽は

この世にこのタイミングでが共に存在し得たという

世界の縮図でもある。

この音楽のように

我々の世界も作られ、共鳴し合うのだ。

世界は偶然の積み重ねによる現象だ。

だからもっと愛おしんで欲しい。

ここに与えられた生を。

The start was that the cousin died after three months of age. Her body was so small especially. I remember that she breathed oxygen from nozzle crumpling her small face. She seemed to always live stronger than any of the relatives gathered at the hospital. I thought that she was divine. There must have some meaning that she was born in front of us for a while, I thought vaguely. I was a teenager at the time. To tell a evidence that she lived, I wanted to give her something gift.

There are stupid killings between humans every day in the world. Some people put an end to their lives by themselves. Each may have circumstances. But I get angry that it is too light to think our life in front of those facts. The small newborn certainly lived her life with full power and moved her heart with full power.

Here are cards for music box. Each of cards show stars in the sky observed form the brith place at the birthday and time of a person. There are punch holes at positions of stars of constellations. The diameter of the card is proportional to the age of him or her.

This music is a microcosm of our world that we could exist together at this timing. In this way, our world is also made like orchestra of music boxes and resonates each other.This world is a phenomenon which appeared by accidental accumulation.

So I want you to love a life you got in the world.

本作は、人の誕生したその瞬間の星空の音楽をオルガニートで奏でる、といったものです。展示会場では、偶然なる訪問者であり鑑賞者の手によって、見ず知らずの誰かの誕生が祝われるという構造が生まれます。

今この場所に、この世界に居合わせることのできた、かけがえのない奇跡を祝福したいと考えました。
