Work Details
The concept of the work
Peruvian Lily. Also known in Japan as Alstroemeria, the Peruvian Lily is smaller than most lilies, but it still holds the same elegance and brightness. Its petals are touched with fine red spots— like the delicate makeup of a dancer in Chinese opera.
What I'm expressing is like a flower breathing. The effects of playing with light, absorbing moisture, and the power of organic things on us are immeasurable. I would like to explore this motif and expression for a while to come.
Note: The top of the exhibited work is the full picture. The 2nd to 4th pictures are pictures with one part cut out. The 2 photos (dahlias) below have been treated with a giclee aluminum mount, and are attached so that you can check how shadows appear when hanging on a wall and the state of the signature on the back. (Dahlias are also on sale.)

One of the major issues with computer-generated works is the specification of the final output. I chose a giclee print because of the fading, ease of handling the work, and the fact that many contemporary art artists have chosen it. It has a very long useful life and very beautiful reproducibility. I chose high-quality paper called museum print art paper. It is compressed onto an aluminum composite board and a lined wooden hanging frame is attached. It is very light in weight and easy to handle. The third photo shows an example of using a giclee aluminum mount. The way shadows appear is also very refined. Please look forward to it!

I create my work with a contemporary sensibility and a gently poetic visual language. Using photographs and photo collages taken with a digital camera as esquisses, I shape and refine each piece on the computer.
Throughout my practice, I return to the theme of “the breath of flowers,” exploring quiet moments and subtle tension through color and composition. My work is presented both online and in physical exhibitions.
