Work Details
The paintings, created using painting materials mixed with soil from the Shirakami Mountains, have a deeper meaning beyond mere landscape depiction. The Shirakami Sanchi is a precious natural heritage site with pristine virgin forests, where many histories and stories we do not yet know lie dormant.
