アーティストステートメント
幼少期に読んだイソップの寓話をきっかけに、古代ギリシャ神話に惹かれた。
神々が繰り広げる愛憎と葛藤の物語は、例えば「オルフェウスとエウリュディケ」
と古事記の「イザナキとイザナミ」のように、遠い土地、文化、宗教思想の中にも共鳴する。
それは、私の中にある絵画空間への意識（線や間・空間）にも宿っている。
古代から現在までの時間を飛び越え、八百万の神、そして私たちに元々備わっているであろう
アニミズム的な概念として繋がりながら、絵の中の人間たちへ生命や物語を吹き込むのだ。

The people I want to draw are fragmentary memories of the world, time, living creatures, wind, and the sea, sometimes men, women, mermaids, and birds, and they all exist everywhere while transforming their appearance like grains. We are not “bodies with souls,” but can also be called “souls with bodies.” While controlling the shape of a human being, it is a stone, soil, bone, and blood, and the numerous sedimentary layers of life (space) are probably the only generation of the “soul.”
