■Details of the work

There is a signature and production year written on the back of the work

■Explanation of the work

It is drawn with two figures dyed in different shades of purple overlapping each other. The person depicted on the right side of the screen is facing the viewer, and their lips are tightly tied. This person's hair is covered with an orange scarf, and the organic pattern printed on the scarf is linked to tattoos of butterflies and flowers engraved on the naked body. Auto Moai often features tattoos as picture-in-picture works. The other person seems to be holding a guitar, and blue and orange colors are layered like wax on his hand. This color changes to yellow-green while overlapping with linear modeling reminiscent of ready-made furniture, and gradually blends into a blackish background. The gaze that doesn't intersect even when close and the temperature of the skin dyed purple is reminiscent of a close yet sometimes painful human relationship.
