監視の愛
この作品には大きな目らしき部分があります。しかし、それは人格的な魂の奥行きを表しているというよりも監視カメラのレンズに見つめられているような無機質な感じ、もしくは鏡の中の写像に見返されているような感じを持っています。
そして、鮮やかな色のハート型の造形が付いていますが、それも情感を醸し出すというよりは、無機質に磨かれた宝飾品のようなキッチュさがあります。
保護と監視、自由と管理、セキュリティという問題は現代の社会のいろいろな場面に表れますが
一筋縄ではいかない、その複雑さ、割り切ることのできない感じが表れていればと思います。
