Work Details
I was born in spring and received the same name as a flower blooming in spring.
Every year when the flowers bloom, the pistils and stamens at the center of the flower look like candles on the cake, and I feel like they bless me.
The motif is drawn by coloring cotton cloth with acrylic paint and partially stitched with thread. The physically raised thread has a strong presence and draws attention as if the camera were in focus.

過去の記憶の断片や、その断片から想像するまだ見ぬ未来の景色を描く。時間の経過や積み重ねられる経験によって徐々に変化し曖昧になる記憶の輪郭を見つめ新しい色や形を与え直し、その像を定着させるように刺繍を施している。
